Another Thorny Crown series: Gray J(2010) oil paint on linen 74 x 54 inches
i had a hard time choosing from all her gorgeous pieces which to show you but this has to be one of the most beautiful paintings i’ve ever seen. i’d love to work on a painting this scale with so much detail but i could never dream of having the skill this woman has. just had to share. :3
enjoy!

i also added a paint splat in photoshop to show his amazingly colourful hair and glasses:

i got a level 4 distinction (highest possible grade) for my course this year. i am EXTREMELY happy and can’t wait to go to university (loughborough) in a few months!
it's a nice way to die she's so easy on the eye
i bought my first moleskine a while ago (months) but never had the courage or time to put anything in it. until today.
just a sketch and a test of my scanner. (that i bought a year ago and had never even set up)

my uncle's hens
my uncle billy has about 7 rescued, ex-battery hens. they’re looking really good since he started taking care of them, a few deformities that they’ll always have (wonky beak on the right here) but they’re lovely and thick with feathers and produce fabulous eggs.
i went on to make a copper plate etching of the hen on the left.
