Not all those who wander are lost;– J. R. R. Tolkien
Another Thorny Crown series: Gray J(2010) oil paint on linen 74 x 54 inches i had a hard time choosing from all her gorgeous pieces which to show you but this has to be one of the most beautiful paintings i’ve ever seen. i’d love to work on a painting this scale with so much detail but i could never dream of having the skill this woman has. just had to share. :3 enjoy!

my uncle's hens
my uncle billy has about 7 rescued, ex-battery hens. they’re looking really good since he started taking care of them, a few deformities that they’ll always have (wonky beak on the right here) but they’re lovely and thick with feathers and produce fabulous eggs. i went on to make a copper plate etching of the hen on the left.
